第十一屆全運會開幕式定於2009年的10月11日在山東省舉行，10月23日舉行閉幕式。

十一屆全運會賽區安排

根據2009年十一屆全運會總體賽區安排，全省17個市均安排競賽項目。除主會場濟南外，青島市將承辦射箭、擊劍等9個項目的比賽；日照市將承辦賽艇、皮劃艇等5項比賽；泰安4項；淄博和煙台各3項；濰坊、威海、臨沂、濱州各2項，棗庄、東營、濟寧、萊蕪、德州、聊城、菏澤各1項。
