㈥ 旅行的幾種英文表示和區別

有journey、voyage、trip、tour、travel。

這一組詞都有「旅行」的意思，但各詞的含義有所不同。

1、journey指從一地到另一地，通常指陸地上的遠距離「旅行」，有時也可以表示經常走的或長或短的「路程」。只作名詞。例如：

I took a journey from Beijing to Shanghai last year.去年我從北京到上海旅行。

2、 voyage主要指遠距離的水上旅行，也可以指空中旅行意思為「航海、航空、航行」等。只作名詞。例如：

She usually gets seasick ring the voyage.她在航行中經常暈船。

3、 trip 一般指時間短、距離近的「旅行、遠足」，也可以指長途旅行。在非正式用語中可代替journey。只作名詞。例如：

We made a boat trip to the island last week and had a good time.上周我們乘船去了那個島，玩得很開心。

4、 tour 著重指旅行線路比較曲折，常表示「（周遊各地的）參觀、訪問、（巡迴）旅遊、視察、購物、演出」等意思。可作動詞和名詞。例如：

I will tour the world in the future.我將來要環游世界。

5、travel作「旅行、游歷」解，一般表示從一地到另一地旅行這一總的概念。常指長時間、遠距離的「旅行」。尤指出國旅行。可作動詞和名詞。其復數形式意思為「旅遊筆記」、「游記」。例如：

At present, many people are fond of travel in their spare time.目前，許多人喜歡在業余時間旅行。

trip用作動詞的基本意思是「走，跑」，含有腳步輕快的意味，是不及物動詞，常與介詞、副詞連用。

trip還可指「沒有看到障礙物而絆倒」，常與over連用。引申可作「失足」「失言」「出差錯」解，可指某人誘使某人犯錯誤，也可指某人由於自身的原因而犯錯誤，可用作不及物動詞，也可用作及物動詞。用作及物動詞時，接名詞或代詞作賓語。

trip作名詞時，在英國指短距離的行程，在美國則指長距離的行程，如atripto the moon（到月球的行程）是美式英語的用法。

make atrip和take atrip都表示旅行。在美式英語中前者指「有特定目的的行程」，而後者指「旅行」。

pleasuretrip指「以遊玩為目的的行程」，與businesstrip意思相反。
